SUMELA & ZIGANA & KARACA TOUR
Dear guests, We take you to our vehicle that will leave in front of our office at 9:30 in the morning and start our journey. Our first stop is 45 minutes later, after passing the town of Maçka, we visit the Sümela Monastery in the Altındere valley. After passing by, we take a break for a photo shoot. We arrive at Karaca Cave. Our 60-minute cave visit begins. Scientifically, it is said that breathing the air of the cave is good for asthma patients. After our visit, we stop by Torul. After the first hada, we go to Hamsiköy, we arrive at Hamsiköy via the old Silk Road and we have the opportunity to taste the rice pudding in place. After this break, we move to Trabzon. Our tour ends at around 19:00.

Sümela Monastery, built like an eagle's nest on the summit of the Black Mountains, is the first place that comes to mind when you think of Trabzon, as a building with thousands of years of history.
It is a unique beauty with its chapels, suffering rooms and hermitage cells, where the hard rocks are carved and shaped for the love of God, which look like they came out of a fairy tale with its architectural features.
The unique work of two priests, who came from Athens 1650 years ago for the sake of a dream, greets us as a hidden treasure hidden in the magnificent nature of Altındere valley, surrounded by spruce and beech trees, at the foot of Black Mountains.

It is the name given to the part of the Eastern Black Sea Mountains from the south of Trabzon to the part extending parallel to the Coruh Valley. The Zigana Mountains start from Çakır Mountain (3063 m.) in the South of Trabzon and end with the hills in Karaburun, which is located to the east of the source of the Harşit Stream. The height of Zigana Hill, which gives its name to the mountains, is 2511 meters.
Zigana Pass; It has been one of the most important passages of the historical Silk Road. Traders and travelers throughout history had to cross the Zigana Mountain Pass to reach Trabzon, the western port of Eastern Anatolia and Iran. We will witness this on our trip.

Located 50 km inland from the coastline, Hamsiköy is one of the most admired places in our tour with its magnificent nature and the cool air of summer and winter. Eating our rice pudding with our tea brewed in a samovar in a cool afternoon is one of the essential things you should do on this tour.
